Our Story

Founded by Jan Jacobs in Potchefstroom, we've grown to become one of South Africa's biggest importers of quality engines and gearboxes. Every engine is thoroughly inspected for performance reliability before sale.
Engines Unlimited was started in 1995 by Jan Jacobs in Potchefstroom.The business has grown with the market as the need for good quality engines and gearboxes, new and secondhand has become more prevalent across South Africa.
Over the last year, Engines Unlimited has started to branch out across South Africa and currently has six (6) branches: Sasolburg, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Ermelo, Kimberley and Polokwane.
Our mission is to grow and become one of the biggest importer and seller of new and second hand engines and gearboxes in South Africa.
From our humble beginnings in Potchefstroom to our nationwide presence today, we remain committed to providing quality engines and gearboxes to customers across South Africa with the expertise and dedication that has defined our journey since 1995.
